These Terms & Conditions govern all Fundraiser Cruise Partnerships between SJ-Travels and participating nonprofit organizations and foundations.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all Fundraiser Cruise Partnerships between Superbly Justifiable Travel Services, LLC (“SJ-Travels”) and any nonprofit organization, foundation, association, or qualifying entity (“Foundation”). By entering into a Fundraiser Cruise Partnership, the Foundation agrees to be bound by these Terms.
1.1 The Foundation must provide valid nonprofit verification, including an IRS Determination Letter if applicable.
1.2 The Foundation must designate an authorized representative with authority to sign and approve materials.
1.3 SJ-Travels may decline partnerships that do not align with operational, legal, or brand standards.
The Foundation agrees to promote the Fundraiser Cruise using accurate, approved materials.
The Foundation will provide, upon request:
The Foundation must maintain a consistent point of contact.
SJ-Travels will manage the fundraiser group cruise, support travelers, administer the donation, and maintain all required licensing.
All cruise fare payments are made directly to the cruise line or supplier.
SJ-Travels uses a secure digital platform (TravelJoy) to track service fees and payments.
SJ-Travels does not hold traveler funds in personal or business accounts.
Service fees are not donations and are not tax-deductible.
Travelers must provide accurate information and comply with cruise line and government requirements.
Traveler payments are not charitable contributions and are not tax-deductible.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Where applicable, the cruise line may issue a donation directly to the Foundation through its fundraising program.
SJ-Travels provides a supplemental donation equal to 5–10% of service fees collected.
SJ-Travels will provide a full donation summary after travel, including:
Foundation grants SJ-Travels permission to use its name and logo for promotion.
All promotional materials must be approved by SJ-Travels before use.
SJ-Travels is not responsible for acts or omissions of suppliers, weather, delays, cancellations, or traveler conduct.
Tax determinations are the responsibility of the Foundation or traveler.
Liability, if any, is limited to SJ-Travels’ supplemental donation amount.
Both parties agree to protect sensitive information unless disclosure is required by law.
Either party may terminate with 30 days’ notice, provided traveler obligations are honored.
These Terms may be updated by SJ-Travels; the most current version will be posted on the website.
By signing the Fundraiser Partnership Intake Form and/or Memorandum of Understanding, the Foundation confirms that it has reviewed and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
